The world's coolest Montreal street will be pedestrian-only this summer

It's official: 9 km of roads in the 7 arrondissements will be car-free this summer, including Montreal street, which was recently one of the coolest streets in the world.

This summer, out of 11 commercial streets in different Montreal neighborhoods, Plaza Saint-Hubert made the list for the first time.

The 2-kilometer strip, bordered by rue Bellechas and rue Jean-Talon, has made headlines thanks to its new look and buzzing sounds. new restaurants and there is a killer revelations (we dare you not to fall in love country themed salon).

Which Montreal streets will be pedestrianized this summer?

Here's a list of Montreal pedestrian streets this summer:

Bernard Ave
From May 17 to September 27 between Outremont Avenue and Avenue Bloomfield

Duluth Ave
Between Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Rue Saint-Hubert from May 14 to October 15

Avenue du Mont-Royal
Between Saint Laurent and Saint Denis from June 5 to October 14; Between Saint-Denis and De Lorimier between June 5 and August 26

Place of the Marche-du-Nord (Marche Jean-Talon)
Between 6 June and 13 October between Avenue Casgrain and Avenue Henri-Julien

St. Huber Square
Between Bellechasse and Jean-Talon from July 4 to August 25

Rue De Castelnau Est
From May 15 to October 31 between rue Saint-Denis and avenue de Gaspé

Rue Ontario Est
Between Boulevard Pie-IX and Rue Darling between June 17 and September 7

St. Denis and Emery Streets
Between June 18 and September 17 between Sherbrooke Est and Boulevard de Maisonneuve

St. Catherine Street
From May 17 to October 17 between Rue Saint-Huber and Avenue Papineau
