A North York man has been charged with 2nd degree murder

A 67-year-old Toronto man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a stabbing death in North York last week.

A 67-year-old Toronto man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with a stabbing death in North York last week.

Police said they were called to Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue just after 6:15 a.m. Saturday, where a man was stabbed after an “altercation” between two men outside a commercial space.

Police previously identified the victim as 51-year-old Toronto resident Jolly Ahn. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accused was arrested on Thursday, police said in a press release. He is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Friday morning.
