Archbishop Leo joined the Toronto Police in an interfaith prayer walkOn Thursday, April 11, 2024, Archbishop Leo joined members of the Toronto Police Service and religious leaders in a prayer walk through the streets of downtown Toronto. The interfaith initiative has taken place at every police station in the City of Toronto and provides an opportunity to build relationships between police, community members and faith leaders. The prayer walk also highlights the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation as we collectively address issues of common concern.Archbishop Leo joined the Toronto Police in an interfaith prayer walk

I'm excited to be a part of this interfaith initiative to promote spiritual support, prayer, peace and harmony,” said Deputy Chief Lauren Pough as she walked the 52nd Division from Yonge and Dundas Square to First Baptist Church with Toronto Police Chaplain Wendell Gibbs.

“Toronto Police, with presence in every department in our city, is committed to strengthening partnerships with faith leaders to promote a collective commitment to community safety and well-being for all communities in Toronto.”
