A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a North York man.

Toronto police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the incident the death of a man after a “violent altercation” in North York over the weekend.

A man was found in the westbound lanes of Wilson Avenue near Bathurst Street at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Jolly Ahn of Toronto.

Homicide investigators say two men got into a “violent altercation” in the parking lot of a nearby shopping mall, and one of them suffered fatal injuries.

According to the police, the victim was stabbed with a sharp bladed weapon.

Investigators released a photo of the suspect earlier this week.

In an update, police said Alfonso Corpuz, 67, of Toronto, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree murder.
