Passenger buses from Calgary to Edmonton are back on the road

Intercity bus service connects Alberta's two largest cities.

FlixBus began operations in Alberta on April 5, with stations south of Lethbridge, with stops in Claresholm, Fort McLeod and Okotoks, followed by intercity service with stops in Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton.

The Calgary station is at Southcentre Mall, stops in Claresholm and Fort McLeod are gas stations in those communities, Orr Dr. in Red Deer. Tim Hortons and 11525 Jasper Ave in Edmonton.

The service includes free Wi-Fi and plug service.

FlixBus is a Greyhound partner in the United States and operates in BC, Ontario and Quebec.

Greyhound closed its Western Canada service in 2018.

Tickets can be purchased through flixbus.ca and greyhound.com and through its mobile apps.
