TORONTO – Mirvish Productions is heading to Hollywood with its 2024-2025 season.

The Toronto theater company says it has musical versions of “Back to the Future,” “Bettlejuice” and “Moulin Rouge” planned for fall.

They join the season opener, the stage adaptation of Yann Martel's novel Life of Pi, the return of ABBA-fueled favorite Mamma Mia and the previously announced outdoor run of The Lion King.

An as-yet-unannounced seventh title will be added to the season in the near future.

Toronto will be the only Canadian stop for Life of Pi, which has been praised by many critics and audiences alike for its use of large-scale puppetry.

Mirvish said his offseason will be announced in April.
