A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a parking officer in Toronto

A 47-year-old man was convicted of assaulting a parking enforcement officer.

Police said they were called to the area of ​​Bloor Street and Clendenan Avenue on April 5 around 2 p.m.

The officer is believed to have been in the process of issuing a citation for a vehicle violation when the man arrived and performed a body search on the officer's chest.
