A man was found dead while walking a resident's dog near Toronto

A man walking his dog in north Toronto was found dead early Sunday morning, police said in a news release.

Investigators say a resident found the man dead around 7:50 a.m. in the area of ​​Dufferin Street and 15th Street, northwest of the college campus near King City.

Seneca Polytechnic College's King Campus is located northwest of the described intersection, but police did not provide additional details.

Human rights defenders said that the circumstances of the death are considered suspicious and the cause of death is currently unknown.

According to the police, a forensic examination is expected to take place in the coming days.
