Five people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash outside Winnipeg on Wednesday night, police said.

The collision happened on Raleigh Rd., south of Pritchard Farm Road in East St. Paul Rural Municipality, at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Witnesses told Mounties they saw a gray Nissan truck and a gray Dodge Ram 1500 driving erratically and at a high rate of speed down the street shortly before the crash.

A security video circulating on social media shows the cars overturning several times and ending up in a ditch.

The driver of the Nissan, a 29-year-old man, and the passengers in the Dodge Ram, 37, 30, and 26-year-old men; and a 23-year-old woman — were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Mounties said there were “numerous witnesses” Thursday, but RCMP are asking anyone with information about the crash or its video to contact Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or anonymously. manitobacrimestoppers.com.
