Etobicoke stabbing leaves man seriously injured: police

A man was seriously injured after he was stabbed in Etobicoke Monday night, police said.

Toronto police said the incident happened in the area of ​​Mabel Avenue, west of Dundas Street West and Islington Avenue, just before 7:40 p.m.

Emergency personnel said a 40-year-old man was brought to a local trauma center in critical, life-threatening condition.

Police arrested the man and found a knife.

No other information about the suspect was released.
