Porter opened the first Western Canada route between Montreal and Vancouver

TORONTO – Porter Airlines today launches service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The route marks Porter's first route from Montreal to Western Canada.

The new route will begin with one daily return flight operated by Porter's state-of-the-art 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The two-by-two configuration means there are no middle seats on any Porter flight.

Scheduled service offers a variety of connections to Eastern Canada via YUL, including Halifax, Toronto-Pearson and Toronto City, in addition to daily non-stop service between Toronto-Pearson and Ottawa to Vancouver.

Porter's codeshare partnership with Air Transat provides convenient connections from YUL to destinations throughout Europe, including Paris and London. Travelers benefit from more choice and seamless connections.
