Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers | MLB Baseball

warning: The Jets left on Wednesday after a 4-3 OT win at Nashville on Tuesday night, their fourth straight win. Of course, tonight is a tougher test when they face the leading stars of the Western Conference. Morning skate for the Jets begins at 11:30 a.m. CDT. All relevant news will be announced in the pre-game report, so check it out. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM CDT.

Note III: The Moose will have a second day of practice as they prepare to close out the home stretch of the regular season against the Wild in Winnipeg on Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday's focus was recently assigned Colby Barlow He skated for the first time in practice with the Moose on Wednesday. Today's practice is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CDT.

Winnipeg Free Press: Inconsistency in OT win over Predators, Jets still looking for chemistry. (Paywall). It probably isn't a good sign that tonight is Game 79 on the calendar and there is still talk of finding chemistry.

Global News: Another stellar performance moves Jets' Hellebuyck closer to Vezina Trophy. I can't see him winning a second Vezina of his career after last season, but he would be the first to say he has his eyes on a much bigger prize.
