1 person was killed and 2 others were injured in three shootings in the San district

One person is dead and two others are recovering from serious injuries after a triple shooting in Toronto's fashion district overnight.

Police were called to the area of ​​West Queen Street and Portland Street at 2:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting.

Three victims were identified with gunshot wounds. One was taken to a trauma center in critical condition, while the other two suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.

The victim, who suffered serious injuries, has died, police confirmed to 680 News Radio Toronto.

The age and gender of the victims were not specified.

According to the police, the shooting happened outside the establishment in the area. The suspect fled in a black car.

Queen Street West has been closed while the investigation continues.
