A flight attendant who landed at Toronto Pearson has gone missing

A Pakistani flight attendant went missing for days after arriving in Toronto on Friday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said.

“One of our crew, Mr. Ijaz Shah, who was working as operational crew on PK781 on October 14, went missing after the flight,” PIA General Manager Corporate Communications Abdullah H. Khan to CTV News Toronto.

The PIA flight from Islamabad landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Friday at 4 pm. He was officially declared missing after he did not show up for the return flight scheduled to land on Sunday, Khan said.

According to Khan, the missing flight attendant was reported to the Canada Border Services Agency.

CTV News Toronto reached out to the government agency but did not hear back.
