The rooftop ice rink at The Forks will reopen

The drop in temperature brought good news for skating fans in Winnipeg.

Skating has reopened at the Canopy Rink at the Winnipeg 150 Winter Park.

Forks Winnipeg took to social media to share the exciting news.

“Our dedicated crew has been working hard to clear the rink, eliminate flooding and prepare the rink for everyone to enjoy.” When the indoor ice rink is open, the skating rinks remain closed.

There is a skate changing area in the atrium of The Forks Market, and visitors can bring equipment or rent ice skates.
