MONTREAL – French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal will visit Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal during a three-day visit to Canada that begins Wednesday.

Attal will land in Ottawa, where he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Governor General Mary Simon, before traveling to Quebec City on Thursday, where he will meet with Prime Minister Francois Legault.

Later, he will address members of the Quebec legislature.

On Friday morning, he will visit a school in Quebec City before holding a joint press conference with Legault.

Later, Attal will speak at the Metropolitan Montreal Chamber of Commerce, focusing on France-Quebec partnerships.

Attal's visit is part of a regular series of meetings between Quebec and French leaders that began in 1977 and are usually held every two years, alternating between Quebec and France.
