A great new Japanese restaurant has opened in Old Montreal and you'll feel like you're in Tokyo

Old Montreal has welcomed a new Japanese restaurant to its list of must-see eateries, and this place promises to transport you and your taste buds to the streets of Tokyo.

Located in the Old Port, Yubari has officially opened its doors on McGill Street inside the beautiful St. Paul Hotel, offering authentic cuisine and an unforgettable atmosphere.

The new Montreal restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner, allowing patrons to enjoy “Japanese-inspired Asian culinary creations” any time of the day.

The menu is full of your favorite Japanese dishes, including Yubari's amazing sashimi platter made with salmon, fresh tuna, yellowtail and mackerel. The Signature Yubari Maki Roll is exceptional, as is the Mixed Nigiri Platter for those looking for the ultimate sushi experience.

A few other favorites include gyoza, edamame, and a spicy jalapeño roll—all of which look as good as they taste. The visual presentation is unparalleled, turning a simple dish like a sushi roll into a culinary masterpiece. You'll feel so bad for eating what can only be described as a work of food art.

The new Montreal restaurant is decorated with gorgeous wagasa umbrellas, dim lighting and leopard print seating. Not to mention the woodwork, reminiscent of traditional Japanese architecture.

Guests are encouraged to make reservations for lunch or dinner online or by phone, and you can choose to sit at the bar or at a table.

So who's hungry?
