A man is wanted for multiple assaults on a man at his Toronto home

A 37-year-old man is wanted for allegedly attacking a man three times in recent months on the city's west side.

Toronto police said the abuse happened at the victim's home — near King St. B and Dufferin St. — on Dec. 18 and 23, 2023, and again on Monday.

But the criminal fled the scene before the police arrived.

Police said in a statement Wednesday that the alleged victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators have identified the suspect and released his photo.

Lerondo Cortell, of no fixed address, is wanted for assault with a weapon, menacing, assault and battery by strangulation.

He is described as 5-foot-11, 161 pounds, with black, curly hair and dark eyes.
