MONTREAL – The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series is coming to Montreal this summer. On August 25, the Port of Montreal Grand Quay will host one of eight stops on the calendar, hosting Canada for the first time.

On August 25, the Port of Montreal Grand Quay will host one of eight stops on the calendar, hosting Canada for the first time.

Other events, which run from May 26 to November 10, 2024, will take place in Athens, Boston, Italy, Northern Ireland, Norway, Turkey and Australia.

Molly Carson, a 25-year-old Thunder Bay native who now calls Montreal home, was second overall last season.

The Red Bull World Series sees women dive from a platform 21 meters above water, or about seven stories high. Men jump from an average platform 27 meters high.
