2 bodies found under rubble after house fire in western Quebec – Montreal

Two people were killed in a house fire in western Quebec on Sunday, provincial police said.

Authorities found the two bodies in the rubble of a home in Bowman, Que., a small municipality in the Autawais region, about 55 kilometers north of Ottawa.

The fire was reported at 8 am on Sunday and three people escaped from the house.

It took local firefighters several hours to put out the flames.

Sergeant. According to Maryte Bolduc, autopsies will be performed to determine the identity of the two victims.

The cause of the fire is being determined.
