The Montreal Metropolitan Police Service (SPVM) is investigating the afternoon shooting. at noon, Monday, in the Montreal-Nord district.

So far, SPVM has not reported any casualties or arrests.

Around 1:15 p.m., 911 received a call about a shooting on Prior Street, not far from George Park.

When the police arrived, the criminals had already fled the scene, SPVM reports.

According to preliminary information, the people involved in the incident were in two cars.

The SPVM, which dispatched a canine team, reported that shells were found at the scene.

Investigators comb the scene with a fine-toothed comb. They are also going to watch surveillance cameras for clues.

In the afternoon, the SPVM reported the discovery of a vehicle with shell casings. Police say it may be related to the Montreal Nord shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
