Afternoon shooting in North Montreal, suspects wanted – Montreal

Montreal police are searching for suspects after a two-vehicle shooting on the city's north side Monday afternoon.

911 was called about a possible shooting near the intersection of Prieur Street and Du Parc-Georges Avenue in Montreal North at 1:15 p.m.

According to police spokeswoman Véronique Dubuque, the suspects fled before officers arrived at the scene, located several kilometers from a local park.

Several shells were recovered and a security perimeter was established in the area.

No arrests or victims have been found.

At 3:15 p.m., Dubuque said, police responded to the shooting and found a vehicle that may have been involved in the shooting.

The car was found about two kilometers from the scene at the intersection of Pie-IX and Industriel boulevards.
