Timothée Chalamet, Denis Villeneuve arrive in Montreal to promote Dune: Part 2

Quebec filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and American actor Timothee Chalamet will be in Montreal on February 28 to promote Dune: Part 2.

They will appear in a special screening at the Scotiabank Cinema, their only Canadian stop on the promotional tour.

“I'm very excited to share the sequel to Dune with you at a special event in Montreal,” Denis Villeneuve said in a video shared by Warner Bros Canada on Monday afternoon.

French-speaking actor Timothée Chalamet added: “I'll be waiting for you on February 28.” He acquires French citizenship through his father.

For tickets, Warner Bros invited internet users to “subscribe to (their) networks for a chance to (join) on February 28th”. Contests are organized on social networks.

In recent weeks, Villeneuve and his team have traveled to several cities around the world to present the new film in the fantasy series starring Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Josh Brolin.

Dune: Part 2' opens in North American theaters on March 1.

The first film in the series “Dune” was released in 2021.
