Freed Hotel and Residences is expected to open in the fall of 2028.

Freed added: “Building on Freed's 30-year legacy of outstanding hotel and residence projects, Freed will proudly display Takashi Murakami's stunning artwork, adding a unique cultural dimension to the venture, as well as promoting a first-of-its-kind project. Katsuya Restaurant in Canada will further enhance the city's culinary landscape and provide a best-in-class hotel experience for residents and guests.

Freed Developments has transformed the face of Toronto over the past 30 years, completing more than $10 billion in developed projects, including the Thompson Hotel.
