Saeed Selvam has joined NATIONAL's Toronto office to lead and grow the Public Relations practice.

Today, NATIONAL is pleased to announce the appointment of Saeed Selvam as Vice President of Public Affairs and Practice Leader in the Toronto office.

Saeed is an award-winning public relations executive with over 20 years of experience developing government relations campaigns, comprehensive communications and engagement strategies and policies for the largest, globally recognized brands and organizations such as Google, Applyboard, CIFAR, Obama-Biden. The White House, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. Saeed specializes in developing strategies and improving brand exposure by translating complex issues into easily understandable material for audiences ranging from executives to consumers. Throughout his career, Saeed has developed cross-functional, collaborative partnerships with key decision makers, senior executives, media and think tanks to drive revenue, build consensus, align policy goals with business interests, increase brand awareness and mitigate risk for large companies. brands. Prior to this role at NATIONAL Public Relations, Saeed served as Global Policy Lead and Associate Director at Google, and then as New West Public Relations Managing Director (Ontario and Federal). Saeed has also served as an informal advisor to the Premier of Ontario and two mayors of Toronto.

Saeed holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Justice from the University of Toronto.
