Ma Mère en Feu

Established in mid-2022, chef and musician Beaver Sheppard's (along with restaurateur Max Corsillo) latest joint offers everything from bluefin tuna sashimi and niçoise salads to shimchangas and sticky pork bowls, along with menu staples. Blue (cheese) Angel Burger and Nashville XXX Fried Chicken (and their chewy but still intense tofu alternates). A cozy food court decked out in vintage junk restaurant signs and other kitsch food, natural wine stocked and connected and integrated with a 180g record store — not to mention they don't deliver (“Fuck Uber”) and have a lot of personality — make a casual visit to Rosemont Corner all the more worthwhile.
