The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed offensive lineman Christopher Ivey on Sunday.

Christopher Ivey is six foot three and weighs 296 pounds. The 26-year-old from Wichita, Kansas signed a contract with the Blue Bombers on April 17, 2023 and was placed on the practice squad until he was released on August 23, 2023. Ivey was going to play for the Tulsa Oilers (IFL). ) in 2024

Prior to Winnipeg, he played three games for the Tulsa Oilers of the Indoor Football League. Collegiately, Ivey played three seasons at Tulsa (2016-18). He played 36 games for the Golden Storm. His first two seasons were on special teams before spending the 2018 season playing left tackle.

Prior to Tulsa, Ivey was a two-year letterwinner and starter at Wichita Heights High School. Ivey started two years at left tackle and helped Wichita reach the state quarterfinals twice, all while earning a spot on the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFCA) all-state team.
