Pernod Ricard Scholarship 2024 (To attend the One Young World Summit in Montreal)

Applications are now open for the 2024 Pernod Ricard Scholarship to attend the 2024 One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada.

The fellowship identifies and connects an interdisciplinary group of 10 young leaders working to create positive social spaces and combat harmful alcohol and its wider effects in their countries and communities. Scholars will receive full funding to attend the 2024 One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada, September 18-21.

Scholars will attend the Summit as members of the Pernod Ricard delegation, with the opportunity to receive expert mentorship to help shape our engagement at the event and accelerate their initiatives. In addition, all scholars contribute to a collective project to inform Pernod Ricard's thoughts on the future of socialization and efforts to reduce harmful drinking.

Requirements

Successful candidates will share our ambition to promote positive social situations and tackle harmful drinking. They actively influence the support of these goals through their projects, emerging leaders in large organizations or contributing to collective understanding through research. Relevant activities include:

• Prevention and education initiatives aimed at reducing excessive alcohol consumption.
• Preventive initiatives aimed at reducing social harm.
• Projects that combat the harmful effects of excessive alcohol consumption.
• Projects that improve physical and psychological safety in the social environment.
• Projects that encourage the convergence of communities, savoir être educational initiatives around coexistence and social inclusion and combating isolation.
• Study the habits and behavior patterns of Generation Z, socialization trends, including the role of alcohol in this socialization.

In addition, candidates:

• Be of legal drinking age in their country of residence at the time of application.
• Available to contribute to a post-Summit collective project with other fellows. For more details, see the Community Project section.
