The Toronto Free Library is asking people to donate bittersweet content

Romance novels, especially of the “savory” variety, are among the most popular novels on the market, thanks in no small part to BookTok, but the owner of one free library in Toronto wants nothing to do with it.

A post on a Toronto Facebook group shows a handwritten note on the door of the city's free library demanding that people stop donating so many delicious romance novels.

Although the demand for educational material rather than the erotic variety is correct – it was created by the owner, but some people do not support the novel's sharp libel.

By the way, I might add, romance novels have their own educational value… special in their own way.

With the Toronto Public Library still in recovery mode after October's cyberattack, romance fans (and fans of all romances) are starving for new books, and it's clear the owner of this free library is refusing to accommodate romance fans. struck a chord.
