UPDATE: According to the Canadiens, Harvey-Pinard will play between four and six due to injury:

During the first intermission of the Montreal Canadiens' game against the St. Louis Blues, the team announced that Jordan Harris will not return to the game after being injured by a shot behind his own net.

They also revealed that Rafael Harvey-Pinard has been placed on injured reserve after leaving Saturday's game early.

After losing his balance behind the net, Harris had to be helped off the ice, and Sammy Blais decided to end the check, slamming Harris' head into the boards. Harris was left on the ice and needed a lot of help to get to the locker room. He played his first game since Jan. 27, a nice scratch on the Habs' previous two games.

Harvey-Pinard's injury got worse when he collided with teammate Joel Armia in the neutral zone. Harvey-Pinard crumpled his leg awkwardly as his teammate fell on top of him, leaving him with a serious injury and a limp.

The Canadiens called up Joshua Roy to bring the roster to 12 forwards, but they have an extra defenseman — Arber Hekaj was scratched Sunday to allow Harris to return — so no recall from the AHL team is needed. to have a full lineup for the next game against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.
