Winnipeg police investigating 3 separate stabbings overnight – Winnipeg

Within eight hours, the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) received reports of three separate stabbings.

The first incident happened in the area of ​​Donald Street and Portage Avenue on Friday at 8:40 p.m. According to the message, “the victim, a 40-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in an unstable condition and is in a stable condition.

The second incident happened around 1:50 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Main Street. Police arrived at the scene and found a 20-year-old man with multiple injuries. Emergency care included chest compressions. “The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later stabilized,” police said.

The latest incident happened around 4 am. Officers responded to a report of another stabbing in the area of ​​Church Avenue and Main Street where they found a 30-year-old man in critical condition. The man was taken to hospital and is in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made in either incident, and police continue to investigate.
