Calgary Flames announce goaltending move

There are plenty of eyes on the Calgary Flames as starting goaltender Jacob Markstrom remains a hot trade candidate as the NHL trade deadline approaches.

However, thanks to an injury to backup Dan Vladar, GM Craig Conroy had to go to the American Hockey League for reinforcements. Dustin Wolff was recalled and Vladar was placed on injured reserve.

Wolf posted an 18-7-2 record with the Flames affiliate of the American Hockey League, the Calgary Wranglers, with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage; He also has four shutouts.

Additionally, Vladar owns a 7-7-2 record with a pedestrian 3.27 goals-against average and .888 save percentage.
