Montreal: The loss of a person with autism spectrum disorder

The Montreal Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a young man with autism spectrum disorder who has been missing since Friday evening.

David Pierre-Bostic, 18, was last seen at a home in the St. Laurent neighborhood on February 9 at around 10:00 p.m.

According to the police, the young man was walking and had some money on him. He likes to frequent Subway, McDonald's and Tim Hortons restaurants, as well as subway stations.

The dark-skinned guy is 168 cm tall and weighs 63 kg. He has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black coat with white over his shoulders, gray jogging pants and black boots.

David Pierre-Bostic, who suffers from autism spectrum disorder, “would have the mental age of a 13-year-old. He can talk and ask for help, but he's afraid of people and he's very neutral,” SPVM said, recommending a gentle approach with him.

Anyone with information on the man's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the police at the nearest station.
