One person was killed in a fight at a building on Toronto's west side

Toronto police are investigating the death of a man in an apartment building on the city's west side early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to an apartment building in the area of ​​Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West just before 6 a.m. for reports of a fight inside the building.

Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information has been released yet.

Homicide investigators have been notified and are on the way to the scene, police said.
