Winnipeg police responded to a trio of stabbings overnight

Winnipeg police are investigating three separate stabbings within hours of each other between Friday and Saturday.

The first incident happened in the area of ​​Donald Street and Portage Avenue around 8:40 p.m. The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to the hospital in an unstable condition and is in a stable condition.

Police were called to the 800 block of Main Street around 1:50 a.m. Saturday and found a 20-year-old man with multiple injuries. Officers administered emergency medical care, including applying chest compressions. The condition of the victim was taken to the hospital in an unstable condition, and later his condition was stable.

Then at 4 a.m., police responded to the area of ​​Church Avenue and Main Street. Police officers found the 30-year-old victim and provided emergency medical aid. The man was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

No arrests were made in any of the three incidents.
