Industrial fire in East York under control, no injuries

Toronto Fire reports that an industrial, commercial fire in the East York area is under control Saturday morning.

Toronto Fire says they received a report of a level two fire at 5:44 a.m. on Overlea Blvd. When crews arrived, they said the building was completely engulfed by “heavy flames (from the fire) coming from the front window.”

There are several businesses in the area, although TFS could not confirm the exact location. They said the fire may have started in the restaurant.

Now that the fire is under control, crews are monitoring the fire.

No injuries were reported.
