Flames recall Wolff from AHL after placing goaltender Vladar on IR – Calgary

Calgary Flames benched goaltender Dan Vladar with a lower-body injury.

In a related move, the team recalled netminder Dustin Wolff from the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League.

Vladar has not seen game action since a loss against the Edmonton Oilers on January 20th. The 26-year-old dressed as backup to Jacob Markstrom on Thursday.

Vladar has a 7-7-0 record with a .888 save percentage and a 3.27 goals-against average in 16 games for Calgary this season.

The 22-year-old Wolf is 18-7-2 with a .927 save percentage and a 2.27 GAA in his third season in the AHL.

Wolff has started four of five games for the Flames this season and is 1-2-1.
