Dunmore, Alta., bomb threat ruled 'hoax': RCMP

A bomb threat in a town near Medicine Hat, Alta., has been dismissed as a hoax by RCMP.

At 9:00 p.m. Thursday, police were alerted on social media that a bomb had been placed at an address in Dunmore, Alta.

The law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene, after an investigation, considered the threat to be false.

RCMP are continuing to investigate the source of the threat.

Dunmore is about 300 kilometers southeast of Calgary.
