The driver was shot several times in the Laval parking lot

Laval police are investigating an attempted homicide after a driver who was inside his car was shot multiple times in broad daylight in a parking lot.

A 911 call about the incident at a strip mall near De L'Avenir and Saint-Martin came in just after 1 p.m.

Police found a 33-year-old man who had been shot.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
