ToyBx Industrial Condominium offers a new solution for car storage in Toronto

As the city's density and car theft increase, Toronto's demand for safe and secure car storage solutions increases. Responding to this need, ToyBx Industrial Condominium, scheduled for completion in spring 2026, aims to provide an innovative option for car enthusiasts and collectors. Located at 20 Towns Road in South Etobicoke, this property offers easy access to major highways from downtown Toronto and surrounding areas. The units are now on sale.

ToyBx comes from the vision of Ming Zee, Chris Grant and Todd Yule, who share a passion for vehicles and have experience in public conservation and real estate development. The project will transform a 180,000 ft² former distillery into a dedicated car storage facility. With three tiers of adjustable fixtures, ToyBx is designed to meet a variety of needs and preferences.

Units range in size, with a basic model starting at around 700 sq ft, suitable for up to four cars using carports, to larger spaces that can accommodate a carpool. Buyers have the option to purchase a mezzanine or even combine units, creating a personalized storage space, and can even design carport units by purchasing adjacent spaces.

In terms of specifications, the building has double car lifts to transport vehicles between floors, complemented by a passenger lift for convenient access. Each of the 180 units has 20-foot ceilings, providing ample vertical space to store lifts and assembled vehicles. A fourth floor Phase 2 is proposed to add to the building's total square footage and accommodate penthouse units with panoramic views, adding to the appeal of premium car collectors.

Security at ToyBx is robust, including a fully monitored system with cameras covering all common areas and perimeters. Access control systems ensure entry and exit are restricted to those with authorized credentials at any time of the day, with additional security measures such as door contacts and motion detectors on each unit. For added peace of mind, owners can monitor their appliances via an app, receiving notifications directly from their smartphones, from fiber service to projects offered by Beanfield.

Facility amenities include bathrooms, showers, and industrial sinks on each floor. Wide driveways and garage doors are designed to accommodate a variety of vehicle sizes, allowing for easy maneuvering within the building.

ToyBx has unveiled a collection of ten models to showcase the potential of these units. These suites are now on display in the on-site sales center, showcasing the high level of customization available. Buyers can work with partners like Garage Living to fully equip their units, or choose to personalize the space themselves, choosing options such as custom flooring, cabinets, dehumidifiers, electric vehicle chargers, and high-definition audio and video systems.

With prices starting in the $400,000s, ToyBx offers a value proposition compared to the cost of parking spaces in downtown and downtown Toronto luxury condos, and condo projects are moving away from minimum parking requirements in response to City of Toronto transit. – oriented initiatives. The offering is positioned as a long-term investment and customized solution for car enthusiasts looking for a dedicated space for their vehicle in the city.
