Flames recall Dustin Wolff from AHL

The Calgary Flames have recalled goaltender Dustin Wolff from AHL Calgary as Dan Vladar moved to injured reserve with a lower-body injury, the team announced Friday.

Kaskyr, 22, has appeared in five games for the Flames this season, posting a .893 save percentage and a 3.46 goals-against average in one win.

He spent most of the season with the AHL Wranglers, where he played 28 games with an 18-7 record and a .927 save percentage.

Wolf was selected by the Flames in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Draft.

Vladar, 26, has played in 16 games as a reserve this season, posting a .888 save percentage and a 3.27 goals-against average.

It is unclear how Vladar got injured, as he last dressed and trained with the team on January 20.

Vladar began his career with the Boston Bruins before being traded to the Flames in exchange for a 2021 second-round pick. He signed a two-year, $4.4 million contract with the Flames in October 2022 and has one season remaining before free agency.

The Flames face the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon. Catch all the action on Sportsnet or Sportsnet+ at 1:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM MT.
