Here are the road closures in Montreal this weekend

Those traveling to, out of and around Montreal should note that roadworks may close this week, particularly at the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel (A-25) and the Papineau-Leblanc bridge (A-19).

It is recommended to avoid these areas.

Papineau-Leblanc Bridge – Highway 19

  • The bridge is completely closed between Laval and Montreal (Ahuntsic-Cartierville area) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. in both directions Monday.

As a result, the default closings from 9.30pm are:

  • Highway 440 East and West ramps of Highway 19 South.
  • Highway 19 South entrances of St. Maarten, de la Concorde and Levesque boulevards.

Highway 25 – Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel

Between Longueuil and Montreal (Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district), the following closures will be in effect from 11:00 p.m. Saturday to 9:00 a.m. Sunday:

To the north

  • Between Exit 90 on Highway 20 West (R-132, La Prairie, Varennes) and the Notre Dame East entrance, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel.

As a result, the default closings from 10:30 p.m. are:

  • Route-132 East and West ramps (Exit 89-N) to Highway 25 North.
  • Entrance on rue l'Île-Charron.
