2024 Chinese New Moon Parade in Montreal: Dates, Times and Events

Montreal is gearing up to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, and catching your favorite parade is one of the best things to do in the city right now.

This year, Chinatown will be transformed into the biggest cultural exhibition and celebration with art installations, culinary delights, workshops, events and live performances around Sun Yat-Sen Park and the nearby cultural center.

We're talking lanterns, light projection installations of the 12 zodiac signs, and even a photo booth arch.

On Good Friday night (February 9, 2024), both traditional and modern Lunar New Year celebrations begin, followed by two full days of festivities.
