De Havilland has acquired the Calgary-based aircraft parts manufacturing operations of Canadian Field Aviation.

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) Field Aviation Company Inc. announced that it has acquired the assets and continuing business of the company's Calgary, Alta.-based aircraft parts manufacturing operations and will continue to grow its manufacturing footprint in western Canada.

This is the second acquisition in the past few months by De Havilland Canada, which recently acquired Ontario-based Mid-Canada Mod Center and Avionics Design Services Inc. in late 2023.

These acquisitions allow De Havilland Canada to increase its manufacturing, engineering and avionics design capabilities to meet growing global customer demand.

Field Aviation Company Inc.'s Calgary-based aircraft parts manufacturing operations currently manufacture parts for De Havilland Canadian aircraft, as well as parts for other aerospace equipment manufacturers.
