An unidentified man is wanted for Tuesday's armed robbery at a Markham gas station.

York Regional Police say a lone gunman entered a gas station kiosk on Kennedy Street. and 14th Avenue around 10:20 p.m

The robber jumped the cash register and demanded cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets from the clerk before fleeing westbound.

No one was physically injured.

The robber is described as between 25 and 37 years old, 4 feet tall, 180 pounds, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, full face mask, possibly sunglasses, black pants and black shoes, carrying a black backpack and a black handgun.
