Three Hills RCMP hit and run driver

Three Hills RCMP are searching for the driver of a pickup truck who hit a man and fled the scene Wednesday night.

Police were called to North Sixth Avenue near the Three Hills Prairie College campus at 8:57 p.m.

Police say the pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk, and the driver fled the scene before emergency crews arrived.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“The suspect vehicle was described as a black pickup truck with damage to the front bumper,” RCMP said in a news release.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash, may have witnessed the crash, or saw the vehicle involved is asked to call Three Hills RCMP at 403-443-5539.
